I am not sure about the notification - google+ seems to be able to stitch together latest posts from various blogs but I don't think it generates an email.

I have let the blog lapse for a while as I have been really too busy to maintain it. I hope this will change shortly.

Tottenham isn't an easy place to cycle around due to the one way systems and gyratories that were put in during a much more car-centric age. But little changes could help. For instance now works are happening at Tottenham Hale and the pavement is inaccessible. So signs are put up for pedestrians to use the cycle path and for cyclists to dismount for much of the off road path. So more cyclists are now using the gyratory itself to go southbound - which is not for the fainthearted. Ideally I would like to see space allocated from the three traffic lanes to a temporary cycle contraflow, but failing that even some signs around the works telling drivers to expect cyclists in the road and to be careful would be better than nothing.
GrumpyCyclisthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02870343841388421714noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2969791928952941604.post-10282622477147179822013-04-07T13:52:46.327+01:002013-04-07T13:52:46.327+01:00I spotted a link to your blog in Flickr comments f...I spotted a link to your blog in Flickr comments from a Tottenham cyclist.

Is there a simple way to get notified of your future posts? Sorry if I'm missing the obvious, but I just can't see anything to click or fill-in.

Alan Stanton
alan.stanton@virgin.net

P.S. I'm a councillor and live in Tottenham. I don't think what our council writes is *only* eco-fluff. There are also some small practical local improvements which are made. Though, to be honest, not enough to get me back on a bike for routine journeys.

So judged by the Golden Rule, not good enough.Alan Stantonhttp://www.flickr.com/photos/alanstanton/noreply@blogger.com
